Part-Time: 3 Days Per Week (22–25 Hours) - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

We're looking for a passionate and reliable Assistant Pastry Chef to join our friendly team and help support all areas of production.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a busy kitchen. You'll work alongside our talented team to ensure every product leaving our kitchen meets the high standards Bakealicious is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Baking sponge cakes and cupcakes
• Preparing cake fillings, buttercreams, mousses and icings
• Filling and crumb coating cakes
• Decorating cakes and cupcakes to a high standard
• Assisting with general kitchen preparation and production
• Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe workspace
• Supporting the team wherever needed during busy periods

About You

• Previous experience in a bakery, cake shop or pastry kitchen
• Confident baking cakes and cupcakes from scratch
• Experience preparing fillings, buttercreams and icings
• Able to crumb coat and decorate cakes neatly and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Reliable, organised and able to work well within a team
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and help others
