Medical Secretary – Part Time
South Coast Renal (Brockway House Medical Services) | Gold Coast
South Coast Renal is one of the Gold Coast's leading specialist nephrology practices, providing exceptional patient-centred care across outpatient consultations, hospital care, diagnostics, clinical trials, and infusion services.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a professional and compassionate Part Time Medical Secretary to join our administration team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy specialist medical practice with a supportive team of 7 specialist physicians and experienced healthcare professionals.
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience. Previous medical administration experience is highly regarded; however, we are happy to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in healthcare.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide high-level reception and administrative support to our doctors, patients, carers, and external healthcare providers. This role is essential to delivering a positive patient experience and supporting our clinical team.
1 permanent part time position
10am - 6pm shifts (days TBC) , Friday availability a must 8:30am - 4:30pm
Weekly pay + holiday leave loading + paid extra time off over Christmas and New Years
Key Responsibilities
High-level reception and patient communication
Appointment scheduling and diary management
Medical correspondence and document management
Liaison with hospitals, specialists, and healthcare providers
Use of practice management and clinical software
Supporting the administrative needs of a busy specialist practice
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Off site parking
Australian permanent residency is required for this position
