Role & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and presentation.

• Manage food prep and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.

• Work efficiently within a team to meet service demands during peak times.

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and innovate new menu items.

• Oversee stock control, ensuring kitchen supplies are well-maintained and ordered in a timely manner.

• Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness, in line with health and safety regulations.

• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a qualified chef in a busy kitchen environment.

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).

• Excellent culinary skills with a passion for food and presentation.

• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality.

• Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
