Senior Pipeline Engineer

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Pipeline Engineers to join our team in Brisbane on a 12 months contract.

Responsibilities 

• Preparation and review of engineering design documents
• Responsible for pipeline design including tie-ins and crossing, right of way, development of alignment sheets and construction work packs
• GIS familiarity
• Provide technical guidance to designers
• Liaise with inter-discipline engineers, designers and specialist to understand project requirements.
• Assist in discipline front end and detailed design input to engineering projects
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project teams and clients
• Responsible for study, design, specification, and services related to the engineering discipline

• Must be degree qualified with at least 8 to 10 years’ experience, predominantly in the Oil & Gas sector
• RPEQ is preferred
• Experienced in engineering design including conceptual, FEED, detailed design and studies
• Capable of communicating and interfacing effectively with other disciplines, project managers, and clients’ representatives
• Must have strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards including AS 2885 and the APGA Code of Practice for Upstream Polyethylene Gathering Networks – CSG Industry
• Good analytical skills capable of writing clear & concise technical reports
