Cook Grade 2, $33.85/hr plus penalties

Never worked in a kitchen? Good. We'd rather teach you properly than untrain bad habits.

We're hiring two Kitchen All-Rounders. American diner, three bars, 200-seat beer garden, live music, 20 years in Palmwoods.

What you get:

• $33.85/hr to start, penalty rates on top for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays

• No late nights, Kitchen closes at 8.30pm

• No end-of-night deep cleans - We have a separate cleaning team

• No split shifts. Shifts run between 11am and 9pm

• Days off set and published in advance.

• Real training on good equipment, from chefs who want you to get good

• A path: All-Rounder to Line Cook to Line Chef at $70,000 and up Staff discounts

The job:

You'll learn station by station. Prep, fryer, grill, stack, pass. You own one station and get signed off before you start the next. You won't be thrown in.

• Keep moving when it gets busy
