Bid Coordinator (FTC 12mth Maternity Cover)

UON’s business centres around the design, manufacturing, supply, construction and maintenance of remote, off-grid power and water infrastructure, with many of the products manufactured in UON’s Malaga facility, based on proprietary and patented designs.

The solutions are standardised and engineered to solve the safety, financial, logistical, and environmental challenges of clients large and small.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Bid Co-ordinator to join our Commercial team at UON’s Malaga Facility on a 12-Month FTC to cover maternity leave.

You will be responsible for:

• Coordinate the end-to-end EOI, quotation and tender processes including responses to all sections for allocated customer and business opportunity bids
• Coordinate the entire ‘Bid Process’ cycle with timely completion and compilation of all stages
• Preparation of high-quality bid documents which meets UON’s brand requirements
• Coordinate bid responses to ensure alignment to the customers response criteria and UON process
• Preparing, sourcing, processing and maintaining all tender related information and documents
• Create and manage tender, bid and project working documents as required
• Coordination of full hand over pack on award, including close out of all clarifications
• Working with Senior Contracts Manager for approval of commercial clarifications
• Updating of internal project schedules in line with client requirements
• Coordinating tender review meetings with relevant departments.
• Work under tight deadlines; respond quickly and effectively to changing priorities to meet submission timelines.

 
To be successful in this role you must possess the following key requirements:

• Minimum 3 years bid management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of success overseeing large and complex bids.
• Experience & exposure to the Mining & Construction sectors idea
• Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills.
