About the role
Marketing and Communications Officer
Location: Aqua Energy
Part Time ongoing 0.5 EFT
Annual Package Band 5 $77,357–$88,159 pro rata per annum, plus 12% statutory superannuation
We're looking for a creative and proactive Marketing and Communications Officer to help grow awareness of Aqua Energy and encourage greater participation across its programs and services.
This is an exciting opportunity to bring fresh ideas to life, uncover great stories and help strengthen the profile of a facility that plays an important role in community health, wellbeing and connection.
As Marketing and Communications Officer, you'll help shape how Aqua Energy is promoted across the community, coordinating marketing activities, creating engaging content and identifying new opportunities to connect with existing and future audiences.
You'll work across multiple projects and campaigns, collaborating with teams throughout Leisure Services to uncover stories, programs, events and successes.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and profile of Aqua Energy, helping strengthen awareness, participation and engagement while supporting community health, wellbeing and connection.
In this role, you will:
· Create and manage engaging content across social media, websites, e-newsletters and other communication channels.
· Develop and deliver marketing, communications and promotional activities that support Aqua Energy's programs, services and facilities.
· Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring activities are well organised, delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.
· Identify opportunities, stories and emerging trends that help strengthen Aqua Energy's profile and connect with new and existing audiences.
· Build strong relationships across Leisure Services to gather information, uncover opportunities and showcase the people, programs and successes that make Aqua Energy unique.
· Contribute creative ideas and initiatives that help grow awareness, participation and engagement across Aqua Energy's programs, services and facilities.
