As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team.
About the RoleReporting to the O&M Manager, the Commissioning Manager will be responsible for leading and managing multi-disciplinary commissioning teams to successfully deliver testing, commissioning, and project handover activities across a diverse portfolio of energy and industrial projects.
This role offers flexibility to be based in any major Australian city, with Adelaide being the preferred location.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement commissioning strategies, plans, schedules, and procedures.
Lead day-to-day testing and commissioning activities across multiple disciplines.
Plan, resource, and coordinate commissioning teams to ensure successful project execution.
Work closely with project managers, site teams, OEMs, contractors, and clients to facilitate seamless testing and handover activities.
Drive project progress through daily coordination meetings, issue resolution, and proactive risk management.
Collaborate with project controls teams to achieve critical project milestones and delivery objectives.
Foster a strong "One Team" culture across all stakeholders to ensure project success.
Ensure all commissioning activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
A tertiary qualification in Engineering or a recognised industry equivalent.
Extensive experience in testing and commissioning within the energy, utilities, industrial, power generation, or related sectors.
Proven leadership experience managing technical and commissioning teams.
Strong understanding of commissioning methodologies, project delivery, and operational handover processes.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
