With more than 25 years in business, they've built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality commercial and residential HVAC and refrigeration solutions across North Queensland.

Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Senior HVAC/R Technician to join the team and play a key leadership role within the business. This is a genuine opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and progress into a Service Manager position over time.

The Opportunity

Initially, you'll be joining as a senior member of the technical team, acting as the go-to person for technicians and apprentices while remaining hands-on where required.

As you establish yourself, you'll gradually step into more leadership responsibilities, mentoring the team, supporting daily operations and helping drive the continued growth of the business.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced technician who's ready to transition into management while still enjoying being on the tools.

About You

We're looking for someone who is technically strong, approachable and enjoys helping others succeed.

You'll Ideally Have

Certificate III in Air Conditioning & RefrigerationCurrent ARCtick Refrigerant Handling LicenceExtensive experience in commercial HVAC and refrigerationStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsExperience across commercial service and maintenanceExperience with cold rooms, supermarket refrigeration or commercial refrigeration systemsExcellent communication and customer service skillsA proactive attitude and strong work ethicThe ability to mentor apprentices and support other techniciansCurrent Australian Driver's Licence

Experience with marine refrigeration, post mix systems, beer systems or glycol systems is highly regarded but not essential.

Leadership or supervisory experience is also highly desirable, although experienced senior technicians looking to step into leadership are strongly encouraged to apply.
