The role

The team at Longboard Accountants is looking for a junior/intermediate accountant with excellent communication skills to join our Ringwood office. 

The successful candidate will have completed their business and/or commerce degree, preferably with a major in accounting and have commenced their CPA/CA program. Further to this, candidates should have at least 12 months experience within business or public practice.

The role will entail working as part of a team reporting to the manager and partner and will see you responsible for:

• Direct client communication

• Financial Statement and Tax Return preparation

• Activity Statement (BAS/IAS) preparation

• Fringe Benefits Tax preparation

• State taxes (e.g. payroll tax)

• Annual tax planning

• Bookkeeping and payroll

• Management accounts preparation

• Workflow management
