The Role
We’re looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our team. Based in the Peel region, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and supporting a range of mechanical and hydraulic fixed plant assets for our clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, solving technical problems, and being part of a team that takes pride in doing quality work.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical and hydraulic fixed plant assets.
Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
Adhering to company procedures, processes and standards.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Requirements
Certificate III – Mechanical trade certificate.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in an industrial environment on fixed or mobile plant equipment.
Proficiency in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing complex mechanical and / or hydraulic systems.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to join a break-down support on-call roster.
Positive attitude and commitment to supporting a positive workplace culture.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Full driver's licence.
