About the role
An excellent opportunity for an Environmental Consultant to join a well-established specialised company.
EnviroProtect is a Melbourne-based company and has been a forerunner in Occupational Hygiene and Environmental Consultancy for over 30 years.
EnviroProtect is seeking a talented and self-driven Consultant with minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in contaminated land assessments.
Preferred candidate's will have the following qualifications, experience and abilities:
Tertiary qualifications in environmental engineering/science, hydrogeology or other related discipline.
Between 2 to 5 years professional experience in assessment/remediation of contaminated land and groundwater.
Ability to use your technical background to deliver high quality work in contaminated land assessment.
Demonstrated experience in contaminated land field investigations and reporting under the National Environment Protection (Assessment of Site Contamination) Measure and Familiarity with the Victorian contaminated land legislation.
Fieldwork experience involving environmental data collection (soil, groundwater, air, etc.).
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Products.
Ability to network and engage with clients.
Accurate reporting skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships at various levels.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
Willingness to travel interstate from time to time as required.
The role will involve a wide range of projects including:
Preliminary and detailed site investigations;
Design, supervision and validation of remediation programs; and
Waste classification.
The position is available to start immediately and you will be joining a very supportive and collaborative team.
