Machine Operators

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating automatic & semi-automatic machinery (i.e. Propac Vertical Form Fill Seal Packaging Machines)

• Ensuring that pre-operational equipment & process checks are completed and documented

• Maintaining & controlling the operation of metal detection systems

• Monitoring & controlling the packing process in adherence to quality requirements

• Adjusting packing equipment for optimum output to minimise downti

• Ensuring plant and equipment is kept clean and properly maintained for optimal performance.

• Ensuring food safety standards are met

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A proactive-can do attitude with an invested interest in continuous improvement

• Capacity to repetitively lift between 15-20kg.

• A safe approach to work

• Awareness of food safety, quality assurance and HACCP (training will be provided)

• Strong communication skills

• Good numeracy/computer literacy skills

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Previous experience in a FMCG environment (preferred)
