Technical Operations Lead

The Role

We’re seeking expressions of interest from an experienced technical leader to support a high-performing Technical Operations team delivering a diverse program of performances, events and creative activity across Geelong Arts Centres venues. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Technical Operations, you will lead the Staging team, develop workforce capability, strengthen operational practices and contribute to the ongoing success of our venues and events.

This role combines people leadership, operational coordination and technical oversight, providing an opportunity to shape team culture, manage resources and technical assets, support maintenance and compliance, and build strong relationships with presenters, hirers and visiting companies. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of staging services while contributing to broader Technical Operations outcomes across the Centre.
