About the role
We're looking for an experienced Frame & Truss Detailer with proven Roof Truss Detailing experience to join our Alpine Truss team, based in either our Reservoir or Wangaratta office.
This is a hands-on technical role where you'll be responsible for preparing accurate roof truss and frame designs from engineering and architectural plans through to manufacture. Working closely with builders, engineers and internal stakeholders, you'll ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with all relevant standards.
This is a hybrid position with a combination of office and work-from-home arrangements available.
Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate frame and truss designs detailing in line with engineering requirements
Interpret and work confidently from structural and engineering plans
Liaise effectively with builders, engineers, and internal stakeholders
Ensure all designs meet Australian Standards and company quality requirements
Maintain a high level of accuracy across all detailing work
Collaborate with internal production and scheduling teams to support project delivery
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in a Frame & Truss Detailing role
Proven roof truss detailing experience is essential
Strong experience using MiTek 20/20, Sapphire or similar detailing software, such as Pryda.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and structural drawings
Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with builders and customers
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
A collaborative approach and willingness to support the wider team
