ACE Lead – Applications, Communications & Engineering

Executive Leadership Opportunity | NCS Australia

Build and lead one of Australia’s largest digital engineering and transformation practices.

NCS Australia is seeking an exceptional technology and consulting leader to take on the newly created role of ACE Lead – Applications, Communications & Engineering.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a rare opportunity to shape the future direction of a major technology services business, leading a team of approximately 500 professionals across Applications Engineering, Digital Experience, Architecture, Quality Engineering and Testing.

This role is for a proven executive who knows how to build, grow and transform consulting practices — someone who can combine deep technology expertise with commercial leadership, market influence and the ability to inspire large teams.

As ACE Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Defining and executing the strategy for NCS Australia’s ACE practice, driving growth, differentiation and market leadership.
• Building trusted relationships with CIO, CTO and executive stakeholders across Australia’s leading organisations.
• Shaping and winning strategic transformation opportunities alongside Sales and Account leadership.
• Leading delivery excellence across complex digital transformation programs.
• Growing capability across engineering, architecture, quality, AI-enabled delivery and emerging technologies.
• Building a high-performing, commercially sustainable practice with strong client outcomes and engaged teams.

Qualifications

About you

You are likely to be an experienced consulting executive, practice leader or technology services leader with a track record of:

• Leading large-scale technology consulting or delivery businesses.
• Growing client relationships and converting strategic opportunities.
• Managing complex transformation programs and multidisciplinary teams.
• Building high-performing practices and developing future capability.
• Operating confidently with senior executives and board-level stakeholders.

Experience within a leading consulting, systems integration or technology services environment will be highly valued, as you understand how to balance client outcomes, people leadership, delivery excellence and commercial performance.
