About the role
Reporting to the Supply Chain & Procurement Manager, we are looking for a Bills of Materials Administrator. In this role you will be responsible for the maintaining all aspects of the Bills of Materials (BOM). You will be required to liaise with manufacturing, production, procurement, and accounting departments.
Key Role Responsibilities
BOM Master Maintenance
Update internal management system with changes in BOM lists, including supplier items, supplier pricing, and usage quantities
Create new BOMs for models and options
Maintain change request process
BOM Audits
Explode BOM Lists
Interpret Engineering drafts to ensure BOM Lists for vans to be released into production are accurate
Export BOM to purchasing department to order stock
Systems
Liaise with software partner on any information updates required in Internal Management System
Scope and liaise with software partner to enhance data import/export capability
Participate in Pronto key user group implementation group having particular focus on inventory, BOM maintenance and Internal Management System integration
Skills, experience, and attributes required:
Intermediate to Advanced level of competency in the use of excel
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment working with BOM’s
Experience in using ERP systems highly regarded
Commitment to meeting deadlines
Attention to detail
Presenting reports/information in a format that is easy to interpret for users
Work both autonomously and as a team player
