BDM - Recruitment & Workforce Solutions - Salary + Comms

Phoenix Source & Select is a national recruitment agency specialising in Temporary Labour Hire and Permanent Recruitment.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our Head Office in Jamisontown and play a key role in the next phase of Phoenix.

This isn't an account management role.

We're looking for a genuine new-business hunter who enjoys opening doors, creating opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers and converting conversations into long-term partnerships.

The Role

Working closely with our Managing Director and leadership team, you'll take ownership of new business development across our temporary and permanent recruitment divisions.

You'll be responsible for:

• Identifying and securing new business opportunities

• Building and managing a strong sales pipeline

• Prospecting and engaging key decision-makers

• Conducting client meetings, presentations and discovery conversations

• Developing tailored workforce and recruitment solutions

• Preparing proposals and negotiating commercial terms

• Converting opportunities into sustainable client partnerships

• Working closely with our recruitment team to ensure strong delivery

• Growing relationships beyond the initial sale

About You

We're looking for someone who brings commercial confidence, energy and genuine relationship-building ability.

You'll ideally have:

• Proven B2B business development experience

• Recruitment, labour hire or workforce solutions experience highly regarded

• A track record of generating and winning new business

• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders

• Strong negotiation and commercial skills

• A proactive, resilient and accountable approach

• The ability to create opportunity rather than wait for it
