Gymnastics Intermediate Coach – Newtown & North Geelong – Casual

The Y Geelong is currently seeking a experienced Intermediate Coach to join our Gymnastics team!

The Gymnastics Intermediate Coach at the Y Geelong, will work within a large team to deliver recreational gymnastics programs to our local community. The Gymnastics Intermediate Coach can coach gymnasts aged 1.5 up to 60 years old over a variety of gymnastics programs including our preschool, Gymsafe, GymStar and Competitive Programs. Our Intermediate coaches have a passion for gymnastics and want to help foster that passion in gymnasts who are just starting their sporting journey or help continue that passion for a sport they love!

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct involvement with the provision of service delivery for the YMCA Gymnastics program including pre-school and school age gymnastics classes and including Australian levels program as required.
• Instruct, program, spot (where required), develop students within their coaching ability and qualification.
• To act in a mature, reliable and professional manner towards the centre and participants.
• To be bright, cheerful and encouraging when coaching.
• Ensure feedback occurs between parents and coaches so everyone is kept up-to-date with progress being made.
