About the Role Our host
Schneider Electric has a number of Apprenticeship opportunities available within their
Digital Energy business. This growing part of their operations creates integrated, multi-layered solutions that specialise in combining building services and intelligent automation systems. These solutions enable owners, end users and custodians of critical infrastructure to intelligently monitor, meter and control their assets in real time, improving reliability, efficiency, sustainability and occupant experience.
If you have a keen and curious interest in electrical technology and are a current Electrical Apprentice, we want to hear from you! This hands-on Apprenticeship will see you learning from passionate professionals as you develop your skills and gain a nationally recognised Trade Qualification.
Some of the skills you will develop include:
- Develop an understanding of electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and diagrams to determine job requirements
- Plan and measure the layout of wiring systems
- Test, find, and repair electrical problems and breakdowns
- Install, troubleshoot and commission electrical and electronic assets
- Connect electrical equipment to power supplies
- Coding and a focus on Building Management Systems
Applications are now open with a view to commence in 2027. Applications are only open to current Electrical Apprentices – either in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year/Stage. Location: Malaga, WA
Hours of Work: 8.00am– 4.00pm (negotiable), Monday - Friday

About You - Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Minimum completion of Year 12 High School
- You are a current Electrical Apprentice (either 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year/Stage)
- Driver’s License and reliable transport
- Completed a Certificate II in Electrotechnology (desirable)
- National Police check (or able to pass)
