Breezeway Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking an experienced Breezeway Forklift Operator to join our busy Yennora depot!

This role is focused on loading and unloading metro delivery vehicles and interstate linehaul B-double vehicles in a fast-paced environment. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, approximately 9:00am through to 5:00pm/6:00pm depending on operational requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

• Loading interstate linehaul B-double trailers

• Loading/unloading local delivery vehicles

• Freight staging and cross-dock operations within the breezeway

• Safe operation of counterbalance forklifts

• Securing freight and ensuring load integrity during loading activities

• Completing load checks and required paperwork

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area

• Identifying, mitigating, and reporting freight damage, operational issues and safety hazards

What We're Looking For

• Current LF Forklift Licence (essential)

• Proven experience loading trailers and heavy vehicles

• Strong forklift operating skills in busy freight environments

• High attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling when required
