Injection Waterproofing Team – Major Melbourne Government Project

About the role

Submersive Solutions is a Victorian waterproofing subcontractor working under the CFMEU Waterproofing Enterprise Agreement.

We're growing our crack injection team for a major government construction project in Melbourne and need a Leading Hand/Supervisor and Injection Pump Operators (experienced and no experience welcome) to join us. Day and night shift crews are needed.

Leading Hand / Supervisor – Injection Waterproofing

You'll run the day-to-day on site: allocating work, keeping quality and safety on track, and being the link between the crew and the project team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a crew of injection waterproofing workers on a major government site

• Allocate daily tasks, monitor quality of crack/resin injection work, and sign off completed work

• Mentor less experienced workers and keep the crew moving to program

• Liaise with site management on progress, materials and access

• Enforce site safety standards and toolbox talks

• Available for day or night shift crews

About you

• Proven experience running a crew on commercial/government construction sites

• Waterproofing or injection experience strongly preferred

• White Card, plus any relevant tickets (e.g. confined space)

• A current RIW (Rail Industry Worker) card is highly desirable

• Strong communication skills and the ability to keep a team accountable

Injection Pump Operators – Experienced & No Experience Welcome

We need workers to carry out crack and resin injection waterproofing on site. Trade experience is a bonus, not a barrier — if you've got the right attitude, we'll train you.

Key responsibilities

• Operate injection pumps to carry out crack/resin injection waterproofing

• Prep and clean work areas, mix materials, and support the wider waterproofing crew

• Follow site safety procedures and work to quality standards

• Work alongside experienced tradespeople to build your skills

• Available for day or night shift crews

About you

• White Card, plus any relevant tickets (e.g. confined space)

• A current RIW (Rail Industry Worker) card is highly desirable but not essential

• Trade or waterproofing/injection experience preferred but not essential — full training provided for the right candidate

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and happy working as part of a crew
