Reporting to the General Manager of People & Capability, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity
• Interpret and apply relevant Awards, Enterprise Agreements and Fair Work legislation
• Process new starters, terminations, leave, salary changes and payroll adjustments
• Manage payroll reconciliations, superannuation, PAYG and payroll tax obligations
• Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end reporting
• Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers
• Support audits and ensure ongoing payroll compliance
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll systems and processes

About You

• Demonstrated experience in a senior payroll position with end-to-end payroll responsibility
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and Fair Work requirements
• Experience interpreting Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Desired experience using payroll systems such as Employment Hero & ELMO
