About the role
Position Descriptor:
The Alternative Learning and Supported Learning Youth Worker/Case Manager works collaboratively with students, families, staff and external agencies to support young people whose engagement with education is impacted by social, emotional or personal challenges. Through case management, advocacy and coordinated interventions, the role strengthens student wellbeing, removes barriers to learning and promotes positive engagement, attendance and successful educational outcomes. Please note the salary amount may differ from that advertised. Salary is dependent upon your current employment status with the Department for Education, tenure and hours per week. The salary stated is based on an employee working 52 weeks per annum, full time equivalent. The successful applicant will be employed under the appropriate mode of employment.
