Security Officer – Townsville

About the role

SAI Group is seeking 4 experienced Security Officers to join our team for a new client site in Townsville, QLD. We are looking for reliable, professional and customer-focused officers who are based locally in Townsville and available to commence immediately / from the week commencing 31 August 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for security professionals looking for ongoing work with an established and growing national security company.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence

• Conduct regular internal and external security patrols

• Monitor and manage site access as required

• Respond appropriately to incidents and security concerns

• Complete accurate incident and shift reports

• Liaise professionally with client representatives, staff and visitors

• Follow all site procedures, WHS requirements and SAI Security policies

About you

• Current Queensland Security Licence

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

• Blue Card ( Working With Children )

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Professional presentation and reliable work ethic

• Ability to work independently and follow site procedures

• Availability to work a flexible roster, including evenings, nights and weekends where required

• Previous security experience is highly regarded
