Are you an experienced Early Childhood Educator with a background in inclusion support? Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children? If so, Little Souls Taking Big Steps invites you to become part of our dedicated and supportive team.
About UsLittle Souls Taking Big Steps is a not-for-profit Childcare and Early Intervention Centre located in Arundel. We provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for children aged 2 years to school age, supporting both typically developing children and children with autism and other neurodiversities. With a capacity of 28 children per day, we pride ourselves on maintaining high-quality, individualised support within a close-knit setting.
The OpportunityWe are currently seeking passionate and motivated Early Childhood Educators who have a strong interest in child development and Positive Behaviour Support. We have opportunities available across:
Casual
Part-Time
Full-Time
High staff-to-child ratios to ensure quality care and meaningful engagement
A collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team culture
Ongoing professional development opportunities
Specialised training in Positive Behaviour Support
Training and experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodiversities
Professional supervision for BCBA and RBT certification pathways
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
A genuine passion for supporting both typically developing children and children with autism and other neurodiversities
A strong interest in child development and inclusive practices
Availability to work Monday to Friday (5 days per week)
A Certificate 3 or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education
A current Working with Children Check must be obtained prior to commencement
Valid Australian work rights or appropriate work visa
