Purchasing and bookkeeping

Join an established Australian wholesale distribution business.

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented team member to join our office in a varied role combining bookkeeping, purchasing and customer service.

This is a hands-on position that includes:

• Bookkeeping using Xero

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Bank reconciliations

• Processing supplier invoices

• Purchasing and purchase order management

• Liaising with local and international suppliers

• Customer service via phone and email

• Assisting with stock administration

• General office administration and support

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous bookkeeping experience

• Is confident using Xero

• Has excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail

• Can prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Enjoys providing friendly, professional customer service

• Is confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word)

• Can work independently while also being part of a small team

• Experience in purchasing or inventory management

• Experience working in a wholesale or distribution business

• Knowledge of stock control systems

• A varied role with plenty of responsibility
