Key responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for all children

• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

• Plan and support engaging, play-based learning experiences

• Contribute to observations, programming and children's individual learning goals

• Actively supervise children and prioritise their safety, health and wellbeing

• Support daily routines including meals, rest, toileting and transitions

• Maintain a clean, organised and stimulating learning environment

• Follow centre policies, procedures and National Quality Framework requirements

• Communicate professionally and work collaboratively as part of a team

• Participate in meetings, professional development and ongoing learning

About you

• Cert III Educator: Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or actively working towards the qualification

• Diploma Educator: Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or actively working towards the qualification

• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)

• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications (or willingness to obtain)

• Mandatory Child Protection/Child Safe Training (or willingness to obtain)

• Demonstrate reliability, initiative, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
