About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Medical Receptionist / Radiology Receptionists to join our new clinic at Oakleigh and existing clinic at Dandenong. One full time receptionist for United Radiology Oakleigh and one casual receptionist (floater) to work between both clinics.
This is a frontline position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, can manage competing priorities, and delivers exceptional patient service.
Key Responsibilities
Patient check-in, registration, and front desk management
Appointment scheduling across multiple imaging modalities
Managing high-volume inbound calls and enquiries
Processing Medicare, DVA, and private billing
Handling payments and daily reconciliation
Maintaining accurate patient records (RIS/PACS systems)
Liaising with radiologists, radiographers, and sonographers
Supporting efficient clinic workflow and patient throughput
Skills & Experience
Medical Receptionist / Healthcare Administration experience desirable but not essential
Radiology or Diagnostic Imaging experience (desirable but not essential)
Multilingual desirable (not essential)
Experience with Medicare billing, and patient claiming
Familiarity with RIS/PACS systems
Strong customer service and patient care skills
Excellent communication and phone manner
High attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment
