About us

We are a not for profit community based preschool open Tuesday to Thursday during NSW school terms. We are a beautiful rural preschool with 20 children enrolled per day. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to join our team. Great working hours during school terms.

Qualifications & experience

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved courses only)

• Current First Aid Certificate in an Education and Care Setting -including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.

• Current NSW Working with Children Check.

• Current National Police Check.

• Current Child Protection Training.

• Completed Mandatory Child Safety Training.

• Two current and relevant early childhood references.

• We are a child safe service. Prohibited people need not apply.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Ability to work as a team member.

• To be the responsible person when Director is absent or on leave.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.

• Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.

• Experience with working with children aged from 3 to 5 years.

• Observe, document, and assess children’s learning and development.

• Complete learning cycles and maintain educational documentation.

• Plan for and actively support an inclusive learning environment.
