Maintenance Electrician

About the Role:

RPR are seeking Qualified Electrician to join a busy and experienced Asset Management team based at in South Brisbane. The role will be responsible for maintaining the processing plant and equipment and supporting the day-to-day production requirements of the business as part of a maintenance team. Other requirements include:

• Servicing motors, 
• VFD and PLC experience 
• Fault finding and maintaining package machines;
• Installing machines, connect and disconnect.
• Machine Safeguarding
• Data Cabling
• Industrial Refrigeration Electrical systems
• Boiler and Biogas electrical systems maintenance
• Fire Protection Systems monitoring
• Process Monitoring equipment fault finding

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Trade qualification CERT III Electrotechnology Systems Electrician or equivalent;
• Pay rate of $50/hr plus penalties for Saturday and Sunday shifts ($2465 per week) 
• Weekend Shift (Friday to Monday) 
• Current drivers licence;
• Data Cabling Licence
• Forklift, scissor lift and elevated work platform ticket
• Self-motivated, results driven;
• Work in team environment
• Be able to work shift work and be available for overtime work.
• Knowledge of Instrumentation 
• Excellent communications and technical skills;
• Ability to develop circuit drawings and read circuit drawings;
• Fault finding experience with VSDs & PLCs;
• Switchboard building experience (Desirable)
• PLC and HMI programming experience (Desirable)
• Fire systems experience (Desirable)
