Senior Legal Counsel

GWA is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our North Sydney team on a part-time (4 days per week) basis and partner closely with our Company Secretary & General Counsel. In this pivotal role, you'll provide trusted legal advice across a wide range of corporate, commercial, governance, regulatory and strategic matters, helping the business navigate risk while enabling growth and innovation.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a genuinely broad in-house role where no two days are the same. You'll be involved in:

• Advising on complex commercial and corporate matters
• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
• Supporting governance, compliance and company secretarial activities
• Contributing to M&A, strategic projects and corporate transactions
• Managing disputes and engaging with external legal advisers
• Driving continuous improvement across legal processes, templates and playbooks

You'll be an Australian-admitted lawyer with 5+ years' post-admission experience, gained in-house, within a top-tier firm, or another sophisticated legal environment. You will bring strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to provide practical, solutions-focused advice that supports business outcomes. Experience within an ASX-listed environment, governance, compliance or company secretarial matters will be highly regarded.
