The Role: Driver

Full Time - Monday to Friday

Location: Athol Park, SA

Courier driver required for collections and deliveries across various locations in Melbourne, regional and metro region.
Reporting to the Adelaide Branch Operations Supervisor, this person will be responsible for successfully supporting all required Transport functions. Daily duties include but not limited to:

• Plan the route required to make the retrieval and deliveries within the timelines required.

• Complete and or obtain the correct paperwork to make a retrieval or delivery.

• Communicate with Dispatch and Operations team, consignment collections and deliveries, delays, discrepancies.

• Communicate clearly and precisely with the client at collection or delivery.

• Communicate with airlines and handling facilities professionally.

• Understand what information is required on a Retrieval note, MAWB and HAWB.

• All documentation must be completed accurately and legibly and passed to the correct departments on return to the office.

• Understand packaging types and requirements.

• Accurately follow all instruction as provided.

• Represent the company and the company interests with the highest integrity.

• Must speak and read English.

The successful candidate will have:

· Previous experience as a courier is a must – preferably medical, pharmaceutical or perishables industry.

· Strong knowledge of Adelaide and region roads.

· High level of attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Familiarity of airport freight lodgement and collection processes .

· Be able to remain flexible as business need requires.

· Australian driver’s licence.
