About the opportunity:
UGL is seeking an experienced E&I Supervisor to support a major LNG Turnaround at Wheatstone Offshore. This is a 28 Day contract (12 hour days)
Commencing7th October, you will be responsible for providing critical support during the execution phases of a major LNG turnaround.
This role is ideally suited to a supervisor with strong LNG / TAR experience, a solid understanding of E&I Planning and JDE (desirable), and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-compliance environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will drive execution, lead frontline teams, and ensure safe, efficient delivery of Electrical & Instrumentation works.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and Lead: Directly manage and lead a team of E&I Technicians and Electricians to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration in executing project tasks.Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation activities adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work meets project standards and specifications.Schedule Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for Electrical activities, coordinating with other disciplines to optimize project timelines.Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines.Communication: Foster effective communication within the team and collaborate with other discipline supervisors and project managers to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of HV activities, including daily reports, progress reports, and any required project documentation.
About you:
Proven experience as a E&I Supervisor within LNG / Oil & Gas Turnaround environmentsBOSIET & MSICStrong hands-on experience with E&I Planning & Execution (mandatory)Experience working in Tier 1 or major shutdown environmentsWorking knowledge of JDE and CMMS-based job planning systems (highly desirable)Strong Excel capability and high computer literacy (Power BI and web-based tools advantageous)Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with client representativesStrong commitment to safety, quality, and team performance
