Section Waiter

Recognised as Brisbane's Northern Suburbs Best Italian Restaurant in both 2025 and 2026, we're looking for a professional section waiter who takes genuine pride in their craft and wants to be part of a team committed to continual improvement.

You're more than someone who takes orders.

You understand how great service makes people feel.

You notice the small things before your guests do. You can read a table, anticipate needs, build rapport naturally and confidently guide guests through the menu to create an exceptional experience.

You understand that hospitality is both an art and a business. Through your product knowledge, communication and professionalism, you're able to maximise guest satisfaction while increasing average spend in a way that feels genuine and effortless.

You hold yourself to high standards, enjoy being accountable for your own section and remain calm and organised during busy service.

Most importantly, your guests remember you.

• Deliver warm, professional and attentive table service from arrival through to departure.

• Take ownership of your section and ensure every table receives consistently high standards of service.

• Build genuine rapport with guests and anticipate their needs before they're asked.

• Confidently recommend food, wine and beverages that enhance the dining experience.

• Work closely with the kitchen and wider front-of-house team to deliver smooth, efficient service.

• Maintain excellent product knowledge across our food and beverage offering.

• Contribute to a positive, disciplined and professional team culture.

Success in this role isn't measured simply by how many plates you carry.

It's measured by guests leaving happier than when they arrived.

You'll consistently create dining experiences that guests remember, generate positive reviews, encourage repeat business and maximise guest satisfaction while increasing spend per table through genuine hospitality and exceptional service.

• Previous experience in a busy, full-service restaurant.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.

• Professional presentation and attention to detail.

• A positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality.

• Reliability, accountability and a willingness to continually improve.
