Metal Fabricator – Immediate Start

Nanambinia Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Metal Fabricator to join our team at our Wangara workshop.

We manufacture a range of fencing, gates, structural components and custom fabricated products for commercial, infrastructure, mining and civil projects throughout Western Australia.

About the Role

Working from our Wangara facility, your duties will include:

• Fabrication of gates, fencing components and general steelwork

• Measuring, marking, cutting and preparing steel

• Competent operation of metal cutting saws

• Operation of tooling and punching equipment

• Pipe bending and forming

• Drilling, grinding and material preparation

• MIG welding and general fabrication

• Reading and interpreting drawings, measurements and fabrication details

• Setting out and assembling fabricated components

• Maintaining accurate dimensions, tolerances and finished quality

• Safe operation of workshop machinery and power tools

• Material handling and maintaining an organised workshop

• Completing work efficiently to meet production and project deadlines

What We're Looking For

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Previous experience in metal fabrication or a similar workshop environment

• Demonstrated competency using saws, punches, pipe benders and general fabrication equipment

• Ability to accurately measure, mark out and fabricate from drawings

• Good understanding of steel sections, pipe, RHS and fabrication processes

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Good understanding of workshop safety requirements

• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude

• Current Australian driver's licence preferred

• Forklift ticket advantageous but not essential

• Proven practical fabrication experience and competency will also be considered.
