The Role

We are looking for an experienced and people-focused Practice Manager to lead our Wentworthville Medical Centre on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll oversee the centre’s daily operations while leading a multidisciplinary team and supporting our GPs and healthcare professionals. You’ll manage staffing, rosters, budgets, compliance and continuous improvement while creating an exceptional experience for both patients and employees.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary centre team.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure the centre runs efficiently.
• Manage staffing levels and rosters in line with patient demand.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance development.
• Monitor budgets, inventory and centre resources.
• Implement effective administrative systems and operational processes.
• Promote exceptional customer service and a patient-first culture.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, accreditation standards and WHS requirements.
• Identify operational challenges and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate regular team meetings and encourage collaboration and feedback.
• Partner with Regional and National Managers to implement new systems and improvements.

You will bring:

• Proven leadership or management experience, ideally within healthcare.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence managing conflict and solving operational challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn clinical systems.
• The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• A qualification in Business Administration or Practice Management is preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare billing or healthcare compliance is desirable.

The Role 

 We are looking for a *WORK TYPE* Practice Nurse to join our *LOCATION* practice to be a key team member working collaboratively with an experience team of Nurses and General Practitioners, providing high quality and comprehensive care for all patients   

 
The Tasks  

• Performing health assessments 
• Administering vaccines 
• Post vaccination observations and monitoring 
• Triaging patients and prioritization of emergency situations 
• Assisting GP with minor procedures 
• Coordination, management, and maintenance of patient clinical data 
• Wound dressings and removal of sutures 
• Health education and coaching to support patients with achievement of their goals 

The Successful Candidate  

• AHPRA registered Enrolled or Registered Nurse  
• Proven prior experience in General Practice or an acute setting  
• Knowledge of Health Assessment is highly regarded  
• Strong organisational and time management skills 
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills 
• A passion for people and a personable approach
