Early Childhood Teacher

About the role

As our Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering an engaging, meaningful and high-quality educational program for our preschool children. You will work collaboratively with educators, families and management to create a positive learning environment where every child is supported to learn, develop and thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an engaging, meaningful and high-quality educational program for preschool children
• Work collaboratively with educators, families and management
• Create a positive learning environment where every child is supported to learn, develop and thrive
• Create engaging and intentional learning experiences
• Build strong relationships with children and families
• Support school readiness while recognising the importance of play-based learning
• Take ownership of preschool programming
• Contribute positively to the culture of the centre

About you

• ACECQA - recognised Early Childhood Teaching qualification
• Current NESA accreditation/approval to teach in NSW
• Current NSW Working With Children Check
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Strong programming, documentation and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team
• Warm, nurturing and enthusiastic
