About the role
The Swimming Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the School's Swimming Department to ensure the smooth delivery of the All Saints Learn to Swim program, events and swimming communications across the Schools. The role delivers coordination of day-to-day program administration, supporting compliance and safety requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The position upholds School policies and procedures while reflecting the ethos and values of All Saints Anglican School.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head of Swimming with the administration and day-to-day operations of the swim school.
Manage registrations, attendance records, participant progress, and program documentation.
Act as a key point of contact for parents, students, coaches, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication.
Support curriculum swimming programs, aquatic events, swimming carnivals, and representative opportunities.
Process purchase orders, invoices, and other administrative requirements.
Maintain compliance with water safety, risk management, and relevant school and industry requirements.
Assist with aquatic facility operations, equipment maintenance, and other swimming or sports-related duties as required.
Deliver safe, engaging, and age-appropriate Learn to Swim lessons, and monitor participant progress.
About You
Our ideal candidate will bring;
Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card QLD).
Current AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety, Swim Australia Teacher or equivalent qualification highly desirable.
Whilst not mandatory the following would be considered an advantage:
Experience in an administration role, ideally in sports administration or within a school environment.
Strong knowledge and background in swimming
Knowledge of, or competency to upskill in software programs including; Schoolbox, Team Manager, Clipboard, Meet Manager, highly regarded.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate confidently with students, staff and parents.
Previous swim teaching experience across varying ages.
Pool deck supervision experience.
Strong organisational, time management and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sensitivity and judgement.
