Operator, Ancillary

Your Contribution

As an Ancillary Operator, you'll operate mobile equipment safely, effectively and efficiently to support operational requirements at Boddington Gold Mine. You'll contribute to a flexible production crew focused on achieving quality production outcomes while maintaining safe and environmentally responsible work practices.

As part of Our Team You Will

• Operate a range of mobile equipment safely and efficiently to support production requirements, including dozers, graders, loaders, excavators, dump trucks and water trucks.
• Complete pre-start, start-up, daily checks, cabin housekeeping, park-up and shutdown activities in line with site requirements.
• Identify, report and record machinery faults, hazards, risks or other issues that may affect safe and efficient operations.
• Follow safe operating procedures, pit road rules, speed limits, signs and communication protocols when operating around other equipment.
• Support production outcomes by operating equipment to minimise ore spillage, optimise cycle times and deliver material as directed.

Prerequisites for Success in This Role

• W.A. “C” and “MR” class driver’s licences.
• Previous heavy earthmoving experience preferably attained within a mining environment.
• Familiarity with open-cut mining or quarry operations.
• Appropriate certificates of competency and Senior First Aid (highly desirable).
• Self-motivation, discipline, sound communication skills, flexibility and the ability to work effectively with varied groups.
