As Boral continues to evolve and enhance its Payroll function, we are investing in a stronger operating model focused on service excellence and efficiency leading to the creation of a new role within the Payroll Operations Team.
Ready to step into a high-impact payroll role where your expertise truly matters? This is your chance to join a large, complex business and play a key role in delivering accurate, timely payroll outcomes for a significant Enterprise Agreement based workforce.
Reporting to the Payroll Operations Team Leader, this is a 12 month fixed term role where you’ll bring your proactive mindset, strong attention to detail and customer-first approach to a team that values precision, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Your day will involve:
Own the end-to-end processing of weekly wages payrollBe the first point of contact for payroll queries, delivering prompt, effective resolutionsManage employee lifecycle changes including transfers, terminations and masterfile updatesMaintain accurate time and attendance data across systems like Chris21 and KronosPerform payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliancePrepare and maintain employee records and documentationEnsure all payroll activities meet legislative requirements, internal policies and audit standards
What are we looking for?
Proven payroll experience within a large, EA-driven, multi-site organisationStrong understanding of payroll legislation, awards and compliance requirementsAbility to manage high-volume payroll in a fast-paced environmentExperience with Chris21 and/or ichris or Kronos A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and service excellence
