The role

As our Owners Corporation practice continues to grow, there is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven lawyer to join our Owners Corporation practice and play a key role in servicing our expanding client base.

The candidate

We are seeking an Owners Corporation Lawyer, 2-3 PQE, with experience across the following areas:

·       Building defect and Water Act claims;

·       Litigation;

·       Levy collection matters, including recovery proceedings and dispute resolution;

·       Leasing and licensing of common property and Owners Corporation assets;

·       Preparation and review of Plans of Subdivision; and

·       Providing advice on Owners Corporations Act and Subdivision Act matters, including compliance and governance issues.

Essential attributes for the role include excellent communication (written and oral), strong interpersonal and organisational skills, sound judgement, the ability to work well and collaborate within a team, and the ability to communicate with clients professionally and confidently. A professional presentation and a good attitude are a must.
