Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Support & Continuous ImprovementProvide functional production support across SAP MM and SD modules.Analyse and resolve incidents, defects and service requests.Perform root cause analysis and recommend permanent solutions.Work with developers, Basis, Security and Integration teams to resolve complex issues.Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimisation.
Functional Consulting & Project DeliveryGather and analyse business requirements.Configure SAP standard functionality where appropriate.Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and developments.Conduct impact assessments for business changes.Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Develop functional documentation and support end-user knowledge transfer.

Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with business users to understand requirements and recommend SAP best practice solutions.Work closely with developers, Basis, Security and Integration teams.Support workshops, testing activities and production deployments.Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and external vendors.Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills & ExperienceMinimum 6 years' SAP functional consulting experience.Strong hands-on experience in:SAP Materials Management (MM)SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)Experience supporting SAP ECC 6.0 production environments.Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.Experience preparing functional specifications and supporting SAP enhancements.Good understanding of end-to-end business processes and SAP integration.Experience with change management, transports and testing activities.Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Desirable ExperienceSAP Certification in MM or SD.Experience within Utilities, Energy or Infrastructure industries.Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.Experience working across both BAU support and project delivery.
