About the role
Join Avenue Ability as a Disability Support Worker. In this role, you'll provide essential support and assistance to a senior male individual with an autistic disability , helping them to live independently and participate fully in their community.
Hours of work 9am to 1pm Monday to Saturday. Occasional extra afternoon hours for community engagement.

Key responsibilities
Provide personalised, high-quality support in daily living, personal care and community access
Support participants to achieve their NDIS goals and enhance their independence
Build meaningful relationships based on trust, respect, and empathy
About you
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
First Aid & CPR Certificate
Medication Certificate
National Police Clearance
Valid Australian Driver's Licence
Relevant qualification or previous experience providing support to individuals with disabilities, preferably in a community-based or in-home setting (highly regarded)
