About the role

Sacré Cœur is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher (Piano). We are looking for someone who is passionate about the education and wellbeing of students and who wants to contribute to our culture of excellence. Start date is start of Term 4 2026, however Term 1 2027 start also an option.
About the Role
Delivering high-quality individual piano tuition to students across Primary and Secondary levels.
Providing piano accompaniment for students ranging from beginners to VCE level.
Demonstrating exceptional sight-reading proficiency.
Accompanying school choirs and collaborating effectively within the choral program.
Maintaining accurate student records and preparing professional reports.
Contributing to classroom music teaching as required.
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is essential.
About You
Experienced teacher who will work collaboratively
Innovative and proactive approach to student learning
The ability to work flexibly as part of a team, building positive relationships with students, parents and staff across the Sacré Cœur community
Proven ability to effectively utilize technology in learning, assessment and reporting processes
Highly developed communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Adherence to all School policies and demonstration of behaviours in accordance with the Child Safe Standards
