About the role
We are looking for a line haul driver must have a current MC license and proven experience in line haul including oversize and specialised loads. This role involves the safe and efficient transport of a wide range of freight, including mining equipment, light and heavy vehicles, plant machinery, and general freight on flat tops, drop decks, and tautliners.
Key Responsibilities:
Transporting various freight types to and from the Pilbara region.
Handling oversize loads.
Operating B-Double, double and triple road train configurations.
Physically lifting and securing gates when required.
Ensuring correct load restraint and safe freight distribution in accordance with regulations.
Complying with fatigue management and safety requirements.
Spending up to 12 days away at a time. Although most trips are 3 to 4 days away.
Requirements for all drivers:
Online Fatigue Management accreditation.
Valid Commercial Drivers Medical.
Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol testing.
Strong knowledge of load restraint methods and freight safety standards.
