Most graduate programs put you behind a desk. This one puts you in the field.

As a new Undergraduate/Graduate at Winslow Constructors, you’ll physically build the infrastructure that creates new communities — cutting roads through raw land, shaping earthworks, laying drainage, constructing retaining walls, building stormwater systems and delivering finished estates that families will call home.

Winslow Constructors is the founding business unit of the Winslow Group and has been delivering residential civil construction projects since 1985 across multiple Australian states.

Hands-on site experience is central to building strong project management capability. By working directly on active projects, you’ll gain practical knowledge that cannot be learned through theory alone.

Residential projects provide exposure to the full construction lifecycle within a shorter timeframe, allowing you to build experience quickly across multiple phases of delivery.

Your Accelerated Pathway: Engineer to Project Manager

Winslow’s 3-phase development program supports progression from learning to leadership:

PHASE 1 – Build Your Foundation
Develop core site knowledge and understand construction processes.

PHASE 2 – Broaden & Deepen
Take on increased responsibility across projects and contribute to coordination and cost tracking.

PHASE 3 – Step Into Leadership
Lead site activities and transition towards project management responsibilities.

What You’ll Actually Do on Site

• Work alongside operators and construction teams during site activities

• Assist with setting out, surveying and verifying construction works

• Coordinate drainage, services and structural installations

• Manage inspection and testing documentation

• Track production and material usage

• Engage with subcontractors and stakeholders

• Participate in safety and environmental management processes
