We are currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate retail leader interested in an Assistant Store Manager in our Cornetts IGA in Oakey. You will be hands-on in your approach and enjoy physical work; ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved. You will be required to work a rotational roster which may include nights, weekends and public holidays.

Relocation assistance will be provided.

Experience:

• Experience in inventory management including monitoring and controlling shrinkage

• Ability to drive sales ,achieve budgets and exceed targets

• Experience using enterprise systems, such as BC, SAP, Oracle

• Knowledge and experience with WH&S and safety requirements

• Experience in training and coaching other team members

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills ,able to communicate clearly and negotiate with people from different backgrounds and roles

• Excellent organisation and time management skills

• Intermediate Microsoft skills

• Good literacy and numeracy skills

• Excellent Customer Service skills

Preferred

• Retail industry experience strongly preferred

• Previous grocery experience preferred
