The full-time position of Maintenance Electrician is based at our manufacturing facility operating 24 hours 7 days a week at Josephville, located south of Brisbane.

About the Role

Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, duties will include, but not limited to:

• Undertake breakdown repair activities on electrical instruments and/or equipment.

• Undertale equipment installation activities on electrical instruments and/or equipment.

• Undertake preventative maintenance activities on electrical instruments and/or equipment.

• Perform work to the relevant standards and codes in a safe manner where applicable.

• Make recommendations regarding plant, equipment, and procedures, which could improve safety, quality, and financial outcomes.

About You

The successful applicant will be able to cope with a varied workload, be a good team player with a proactive attitude, be responsible and reliable, and be able to prioritise and take ownership of all tasks given. The candidate must be professional and courteous as well as adopt a flexible approach to their work.

 The successful applicant will also be trade certified Electrician with experience in maintenance and automated plants. Previous work experience in a manufacturing or food production environment would be advantageous.
