The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our People & Transformation function at Defence Health, on a 12-month contract basis.  Acting as the conduit between the DHL Business & DHL Technology to deliver business needs through technology outcomes, you will facilitate & own the requirements gathering process in order to develop successful solutions for the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting requirements lifecycle activities: analysis, validation, and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent and concise

• Eliciting requirements using various IIBA Techniques such as interviews, analysis and surveys

• Modelling business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements​ using BPMN 2.0

• Identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.

• Balancing technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business stakeholders  
   

About you

• Tertiary qualified or related bachelor’s degree

• 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst

• Experience presenting to stakeholders including Executives

• Strong team player who works collaboratively towards common goals

• Energetic, driven and committed to project success while working under tight time constraints and pressure

• Ability to think analytically, solve problems to complex business/system processes, and document results

• Experience working with AI is advantageous, but not essential
